In 2016, A Day For Teachers will be run alongside the main conference on Friday October 21st. Aimed primarily at local dance teachers, the programme has been lead by Brenton Surgenor of the IADMS Education Committee and will consist of a series of presentations on the application of dance science and medicine in the studio. Time will be assigned to view some of the relevant poster presentations from the main conference. There will also be opportunity of sharing knowledge in lunchtime roundtable discussions. If time, A Day For Teachers delegates will be permitted to attend a late afternoon session of the main conference on this day. Attendees from the main conference can attend presentations of A Day For Teachers.
 

在2016 年，除了IAMDS的主會議以外，在10月21日IADMS的會 議也會設有教師日供本地舞蹈教師參與。此活動是由IADMS教育 委員 Brenton Surgenor領導，活動包括連串介紹舞蹈醫學及科學的應用， 還有有時間觀看主會議相關的海報。除此以外， 活動將會安排在午餐時分享知識。如時間許可， 敎師日代表可以參與主會議的下午時段。 主會議參加者可以參加教師日的講座。
